Conan Exiles provides a vast open world where survival means living off the land. Over time, you’ll need to start planting and harvesting your own crops. Compost helps most crops, but it’s not enough when it comes to growing Lotus flowers. That’s where Potent Compost comes in. Here’s a look at everything you need to step up your gardening game.
How to Make Potent Compost in Conan Exiles
Before making Potent Compost, you’ll have to know how to make normal compost. This is crafted using Plant Fiber, Bonemeal, and Putrid Meat. However, there’s a second recipe that just requires Plant Fiber and Dung.
Once you’ve figured out how to make normal compost, it’s time to learn how to make the strong variety. Potent Compost requires two regular Compost, two Blood, and one Raw Ash. If you don’t have access to Blood, you can use 10 Dung as a Blood substitute.
The Materials you use will change the amount of time it takes to craft the compost, with the blood recipe taking four minutes, and the dung recipe taking three. If you’re in a rush, you could always use the Dung Recipe.
However, there’s a way to speed up both recipes by half. making the blood recipe take two minutes, and the Dung recipe takes one minute and 30 seconds. For these Special Potent Compost recipes, you’ll need one particular item, the Light of Krllyand. However, this requires that you have the Isle of Siptah expansion to Conan Exiles, as it cannot normally be found in the base game. If you do have access to this expansion and a Light of Krllyand, then include it in one of the recipes.
Doing so will halve the crafting time, and allow you to make Potent Compost quicker. Although, it doesn’t change the value or the time it takes to grow plants.
