Foodstuff is pretty important in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Getting food can do many things for you, and we don’t just mean replenish your energy. However, some foods are locked behind game progression. Take cucumbers, for example. You may be aware that it’s used in several recipes, but you may not have encountered one yet. Where are these supposed to be found? Read on to find out.
Where to Find Cucumbers in Disney Dreamlight Valley
If you’re looking to get cucumbers in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’re going to want to make your way to Frosted Heights. However, getting there is going to be difficult if you haven’t unlocked the biome yet. You can’t go there directly from the main hub; you’ll have to make your way through another biome.
The biome you’re going to need to go through first is the Forest of Valor. Once you make it to the Forest of Valor, you need to head east. You’ll know you’re going the right way when you run into some thorns. They’ll block your path until you offer up 3,000 Dreamlight. Doing so will destroy them and open a new path. Continue down that path, and start making your way northwest. This is where you’ll run into another set of thorns.
Unfortunately, the price to remove these is a lot higher compared to the ones you just cleared. These thorns cost 10,000 Dreamlight to remove. However, once you spend that 10,000 Dreamlight, you’ll be able to make your way into the Frosted Heights.
From here, you’ll need to find Goofy’s stall. It costs 4,000 coins to repair. Once you repair Goofy’s stall in Frosted Heights, you’ll be able to purchase cucumbers. Goofy will sell cucumber seeds, which you can use to plant your own. However, if you continue to upgrade his stall, he’ll sell pre-grown cucumbers for a higher price.
Cucumbers are a versatile ingredient. You can use them to make recipes like Gazpacho, or just eat them alone for a quick energy boost. If you want, you’re also able to hand them to other villagers in the valley for a boost to your friendship!
