Disney Dreamlight Valley is home to a plethora of iconic fairytale characters. Each significant patch released by Gameloft so far has brought forth a familiar face into the fray and the “A Festival of Friendship” update is no different. Mirabel, from the 2021 animated movie Encanto, has now been made a valley resident thanks to the aforementioned update. How to Unlock Mirabel in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can unlock Mirabel by finishing her first quest called The Golden Doorknob. In order to start this quest, you will need to find the Golden Doorknob at a specific location within the Peaceful Meadow. In our case, we were able to find it in the area near the pond beside Goofy’s house. However, its position may vary between each player.
Once you’ve found it, you will need to bring it to Merlin to learn more about the strange artifact. You will then be tasked with a few specific objectives that all have something to do with the Valley villagers. These objectives include taking pictures with three different villagers, giving two different villagers their favorite gifts, and having daily discussions with two different villagers.
We recommend taking pictures first since this is arguably the easiest to finish out of all three. It’s also worth noting that once you’ve found the three villagers you want to take photos with, you can then give favorite gifts and have daily discussions with two of them so you won’t need to search for other neighbors.
After completing all three tasks, return to Merlin for the next part of the quest. The next task he’ll have you do is simple, as you’ll only need to bring him 500 Dreamlight.
Once you’ve given him 500 Dreamlight, your final task will be to place the Mini-Casita in the village. As soon as you’ve placed it, Mirabel will appear, and you’ll only need to talk to her to finish the quest.
