How To Make Sake Sushi in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Sake Sushi is one of the many dishes influenced by Japanese cuisine in Disney Dreamlight Valley. With varieties of maki and sushi available, this is one of the simpler meals. Sake Sushi is a two-star dish that requires only two ingredients: Rice and Salmon. They’re ingredients that you’ll need to take the time to source, as you can’t just use any old fish!

All of the Sushi dishes in Dreamlight Valley require Rice to create, and the only way to get it is to make it. Once you’ve unlocked Goofy’s Stall in the Glade of Trust, you can buy Rice Seeds. Dig yourself some holes, plant and water the Rice, and wait. It takes 50 minutes in total for the rice to grow, but it’s worth the wait.

For our second ingredient, Salmon, you can head to one of two locations: Frosted Heights or the Sunlit Plateau. If you don’t have these areas unlocked, the Sunlit Plateau costs 7,000 Dreamlight to unlock, whereas the Frosted Heights will set you back 10,000 Dreamlight. If you’re short on time and Dreamlight, the Plateau is the best option.

While Salmon aren’t difficult to catch, choose your fishing spots carefully,.as fishing in blue-tinted water ripples may offer more success. If you try to use another fish rather than Salmon for the Sake Sushi recipe, you’ll simply make regular Sushi. That’ll be useful for a quest involving Mother Gothel, but not what we’re aiming for today.

While you’re searching for specific Sake Sushi ingredients, it’s always worth hanging out with a Disney character who’s good at the task at hand, as they’ll randomly drop the items you’re searching for. So you might as well bring along someone good at Fishing!

Now you have all of your ingredients, the rest of the process is easy. Simply head back to a stove with your materials and some coal, put the two of them in your cooking pot, and congratulations! You’ve made your first batch of Sake Sushi.
