Grounded gives players all the tools they need to survive at small-scale. Among the most important items in the game are Trinkets, which bestow extra powers upon your chosen hero. The Biomedical Badge is perhaps one of the most popular, since its restorative properties really simplify survival. However, if you don’t know where to look, you might not find it for a long time. Fortunately, we know just the location to search.
Where to Find the Biomedical Badge in Grounded
The Biomedical Badge in Grounded is located in the sandbox. You’ll find it within the large footprint stamped into the sand. If you’re having trouble finding it, look near the zipline connecting to the picnic table.
When you make it to the footprint, you’re going to notice that there’s a skeleton inside of it. If you have a Black Ant Shovel, you’ll be able to go inside the skeleton and dig up some buried treasure. Digging up this buried treasure will reward you with the Biomedical Badge.
This badge cannot be crafted, meaning it can only be acquired by searching. Otherwise, its use is quite simple. It’s a Trinket, or an item you can equip onto your character for passive buffs. And its buff is among the best in the game. The Biomedical Badge allows you to regenerate health. The downside, however, is that you’ll drain hunger faster.
On the surface, it doesn’t seem like a bad option, trading health regen for metabolizing food faster. If you’re the kind of person who farms all their food, carrying around some extra snacks is a wise way to stay in fights longer.
There are plenty of other trinkets out there for you to find, but the Bio Badge is one of the best in Grounded. For more on Obsidian’s open-yard release, check out some of our other guides:
