Weapon crafting in Grounded remains one of its most important aspects as you continue to defend yourself from rampaging insects. The significance of upgrading equipment also can’t be understated since it enables you to take down enemies even faster. However, there will come a point in your adventure where you’ll need to start using advanced materials like the Mighty Glob to keep improving your weapons. If you’re having trouble figuring out how to craft this object, then we’ve covered all you need to know below.
How to Make Mighty Globs in Grounded
In order to make Mighty Globs, you’ll need to craft and use two Sturdy Whetstones in an Oven. You can construct an Oven by using 10 Clay, four EverChar Coal Chunks, and four Boiling Glands. On the other hand, you can create two Sturdy Whetstones by using two Sturdy Quartzite Shards on a Workbench.
Once you’ve gathered all of the necessary components, simply interact with the Oven and you’ll be able to start making Mighty Globs. These resources are frequently valued because they’re required in upgrading your weapons past Level 5.
It’s important to note that you’ll need at least five Mighty Globs to progress a particular weapon to Level 6. This means that you may need to search for multiple Supreme Quartzite nodes to get the amount you need.
Unfortunately, these resources can only be harvested through the use of the Tier 3 Black Ox Hammer. You’ll be able to craft it by collecting one Black Ox Horn, five Black Ox Parts, and two Pupa Leather. The first two materials can also only be acquired by defeating Black Ox Beetles, which is one of the toughest insects included in the game.
