Halo Infinite‘s multiplayer component is out now, but fans are still waiting for the campaign to launch. This latest entry in Master Chief’s story follows on from the events of Halo 5: Guardians, bringing the iconic Xbox character to Series X/S. The game’s multiplayer is free-to-play and available on Game Pass, but can the same be said for the Halo Infinite campaign? We’ve got all the details.
Will the Halo Infinite Campaign Be On Game Pass PC?
Good news for Game Pass PC or Xbox owners! The Halo Infinite campaign will be available on Game Pass on its launch day, December 8.
That means subscribers won’t have to pay an extra fee to play the Halo Infinite campaign, and it’ll be readily available. That applies to both PC and Xbox Game Pass subscribers, so everybody gets to play the story mode at no extra cost. However, it should be noted that the campaign itself won’t be free-to-play. Therefore, those without a Game Pass membership will still have to pay.
It’s certainly exciting for Game Pass members, getting the latest Halo tale at no additional cost. The day-one Game Pass launch is becoming increasingly common with Xbox console exclusives, as Forza Horizon 5 also took this approach. It’s unclear how long the Halo Infinite campaign will remain on Game Pass for. However, as a first-party staple, it could very well never leave Game Pass.
All in all, it means that you can try out Master Chief’s latest narrative-driven adventure without forking out for the base game. All it takes is a month of Game Pass membership to give it a shot. While you won’t own a physical copy, it’ll be readily available to blast through. The Halo Infinite story mode is almost here – and it’ll be ready and waiting for Game Pass members.
