Stardew Valley | How to Get Rid of Furniture
Stardew Valley | How to Get Rid of Furniture preview

If you want to make your Stardew Valley living quarters a little cozier, furniture is a great way to make your house feel more like home. You can get furniture from Robin at the Carpenter’s shop or from the furniture catalog she sells, which has a ton of options to choose from. That’s why if you ever want to replace old furniture with new, you’ll need to know how to dispose of it, which the game doesn’t explain how to do. But don’t worry, getting rid of furniture in Stardew Valley is simple, and we’ll show you how right below!

How to Get Rid of Furniture in Stardew Valley

How to Get Rid of Furniture in Stardew Valley

To get rid of furniture in Stardew Valley, simply click on any furniture to pick it up, then open your inventory and drag it from the toolbar and into the trash bin in the lower right. It’s as simple as that!

Unfortunately, the game does not allow you to sell furniture. If you no longer want it, your only options are to store furniture in a bag or chest or to get rid of it in the trash can.

Another issue players often run into is how to rotate furniture, which is just as easy to do. To rotate furniture, pick it up and cycle through the directions by pressing the right mouse button on PC. If you’re on console, press the right bumper. It is important to note that not all furniture can be rotated. The only way to find out is by trying to rotate it and see if it works.

That’s all there is to know about dealing with furniture in Stardew Valley. All you need to worry about now is finding the perfect furniture arrangement to make your house feel like home.
