Terraria Spooky Armor | How to Get preview

Each set of armor in Terraria is unique. They’re all been designed to help the player in some way. However, some armor may be better suited for other builds. While some armor can boost melee damage, or increase mana, one specific set of armor can help summoner classes with their minions. That armor is the Spooky armor. So, how can you get a hold of it? That’s what we’re here to discuss.

How to Get Spooky Armor in Terraria

If you’re looking to get your hands on the Spooky Armor, there are a few things you need to accomplish first. The first thing you’re going to want to do is to make it to Hardmode. This is done by going into the underworld biome and defeating the Wall of Flesh. Once that’s complete, you’ll have to defeat another boss called Plantera. Head into the underground jungle biome to find and this next boss. Next, you’ll need to source a Mythril or an Orichalcum Anvil. Finally, you need to combine 30 Pumpkins, five Ectoplasm, and 10 Hallowed Bars to create a Pumpkin Moon Medallion.

Then prepare yourself: You’ll have to take on the Denizens during the Pumpkin Moon Event. Specifically, be on the lookout for two particular enemies: the Splinterling and the Mourning Wood. These are the only enemies that drop Spooky Wood, and they’re the only way to get your hands on this special crafting material.

To craft the full set of Spooky armor, you’re going to need a total of 750 Spooky Wood. All together, that’s 200 for the Helmet, 300 for the Breastplate, and 250 for the leggings. Keep making the Pumpkin Moon Medallions if you need more wood. After you have the right amount of wood, you can go to a workbench to craft it.

The full set of armor can give you up to 58% Extra Minion Damage, and an extra four slots for Minions. Combining this with Necromantic Skull, the Papyrus Scarab, the Summoner Emblem, and the Hercules Beetle, you can max your Summoner Damage to 113%. It’s effective for a minion build, and it’s the second most powerful summoner armor in the game. The only armor more powerful is the Stardust armor.
