2023 is a year for games, and plenty of titles are going to be shown off at the Xbox Games Showcase in June. However, there was one showcase that just came out, although it wasn’t for Xbox. The PS5 Showcase 2023 was from Sony, revealing plenty of PlayStation titles coming to the platform. However, Wwhat fans didn’t expect is that a plethora of these games will also be coming to Xbox. The news was shared via a cheeky tweet shared to the company’s official Twitter profile.
All Xbox Games Shown at PS5 Showcase
About 12 games shown at the PlayStation 5 Showcase 2023 have been revealed to also be games coming to Xbox. Xbox has proven as much by posting the list of titles coming on its Twitter page. The majority of these titles aren’t low-budget indie games, either; they’re also massive AAA releases. Games from some of the biggest companies in the industry. Here’s everything that’s coming to Xbox that was announced in Sony’s showcase:
- Metal Gear Delta: Snake Eater
- GhostRunner 2
- Alan Wake 2
- Marathon
- Teardown
- The Plucky Squire
- Cat Quest
- Talos Principle 2
- Neva
- Immortals of Aveum
- Dragons Dogma 2
There are plenty of big-name titles in this list, games like Metal Gear Solid Delta being a full remake of Snake Eater while also retaining the story and theming that made it a cult classic. There’s also Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which brings the series back into the formula that put it on the map in the first place. Even titles like Marathon, which brings Bungie back to Xbox for their take on the Escape from Tarkov gameplay loop.
Plenty of titles that would normally be considered PS5 exclusive titles are coming to the Xbox, too. While these games may not be coming to Game Pass on launch, they’re certainly able to allow players to jump in on the first day so they can play with their pals from the other side of the fence. Xbox aims to put gamers first and let them experience the same games as everyone else. Perhaps with these titles coming to Xbox, we’ll be able to see a closer look at them when the Xbox Showcase happens in June. However, that’s purely speculation.
